Drunk Soldier
Apr. 22nd, 2012 09:31 pmOn Friday I went to Araina's new apartment for a BBQ and swim. Cat, Araina, and I ate steaks and potatoes cooked on a grill set up near the parking lot. Then we went for a swim but we had to leave early because of a drunk soldier.
This kid (21 years old) was with his buddies and one girl. He got in the water and insisted that we have a chicken fight. We said no, but he persisted. I was afraid that whoever got on his shoulders would get bucked off and sexually assaulted. Or his friends in the poolside would record the fight and we'd be a viral video. He insisted that Cathy get on his shoulders so we also think he made a bet with his friends that he could lift her ( she's got to be 280-300 pounds). I'm no featherweight, and neither is Araina, but this guy wanted to show off by getting the heaviest girl on his shoulders. When another group of men left the pool, we got out of the water and went back to the apartment. I like being with Araina, but now I'm put-off on possibly seeing the drunk soldier again in the complex if we go swimming or use the gym. Even as we left the soldier pestered us asking why we were leaving and which apartment we lived in.
