I was trying to keep my speeding ticket a secret from my parents--- I don't want them worrying about me anymore than they do already with my mildly scatterbrained tendencies and job security and if and when they get a call from the park rangers saying that I've gone missing in the Texas or New Mexico deserts.
Well the truth is always exposed. One postcard came in the mail advertising a defensive driving course and Mom called me on it. I just told them the truth. And they cringed when the offense was committed in a school zone and that the ticket price was a buck less than my admission into Moulin Rouge.
And I'm not sure HOW to get my 3A driving record. All of the sites I went to are second party services. Texas DPS sent me an email despite not going through with the request. I'm not sure if the police will accept my record if I get it printed from my home computer or if it has to come from the Dept. of Public Safety. I still have the paper form for snail mail, but I'd rather do it through the Internet.
