I need a break. I find myself having a hard time focusing at work. I'll grade papers for a bit until I get tired and go off to read online comics or create a new avatar from the My Little Pony avatar builder (I'm adding ponies to my iPod contacts list).
Then Amanda's tying up the prospective 2 week vacation with 4 camping trips. I'm really not eager to go back to the Franklins, and Mom talked about going to Cloudcroft on her day off. I'd rather spend a day with my folks driving to NM, getting apple cider slushies at the Big Red Barn, and eating at Big Daddy's Diner in the small town-village. I'd gladly make it up to Amanda and go to White Sands, The Gila, and Guadelupe Peak if I can get one break. That and I need to squeeze in a defensive driving class. Doomsday is May 15, not the 22. By Doomsday, that's the deadline to take all paperwork to the police station before I pay more on my insurance. But I'm not sure where to go for the classes. The safest one seems to be the one at Denny's or the Fuddrucker's way the hell out on the west side.
The asst. principal wants several teachers including myself to go to an Autism Spectrum Disorders training when we get back from spring break. I'm guessing that the disturbed guy in 3rd period must have Autism or Asperger's even though his SpEd papers don't say a thing about Autism.
