Pool Buddies

I took Amanda swimming at the country club pool. It went well except for the heat. Temps were in the 102-plus and I drank 2 iced teas to cool off between swims. And those ads for e-readers with people loafing about pretty beaches with their Kindles, iPads, etc. are full of shit. I was reading off my iPod Touch for less than ten minutes when this screen came on:


So the Nerdlingers of the e-reader/smartphone world have a new mission: develop a device that can withstand intense heat.
